I am always striving to find a way of recording information and getting it out immediately. That way if you have events with volunteers and community members they can take part in an activity then by the time they go home get to see the event online. This way they are more likely to send the link to all their friends, driving them all to where you need them the most.
With Pixelpipe I am able to take a photo with my Nokia 5800 and have it sent immediately to where I want it to go; Facebook, Twitpic or even Facebook.
